Many clients are choosing to shoot in HD to future-proof their projects, the idea is  to capture footage as to remains usable in years to come. Same is with motion graphics and animation projects. Working in HD gives you several distribution options, as it' is always easy to scale down than up.

By choosing to work in HD, we could deliver the many different medium of the video that client may needed. Like:

• Playback on computers in presentation software

When working with HD, there are a lot of sizes and frame rates to choose from.

From 1080 video with a width of 1920 pixels, to 1440 pixels, or 1280 pixels. 

We have to deal with different codecs and cameras may use variations on frame size and the employment of non-square pixels. HD acquisition can have other frame rates, too. In 23.976, 24, 29.97, 30, 59.94, or 60 fps.
